A lot of women dream of having a baby girl. Maybe it is the thought of playing dress-up with a real live baby or putting in the pigtails. Whatever drives your desire to have a baby girl of your own, there are proven techniques that can be used to help you conceive a girl.
Although one would hope to give birth to a healthy baby, it is inevitable and certainly normal to hope for a baby girl or boy. DETERMINING THE SEX OF THE BABY
All women release an ovum (egg) during ovulation that contains the X chromosomes. The millions of sperm released by a man, during ejaculation, could either contain an X or a Y chromosome. Now after this, it’s all a matter of pairing up of these chromosomes that determines the gender of the baby. An XX pair results to a baby girl and an XY pair results to the conception of a baby boy. - Shettles Method. This method is discussed by Dr. Shettles in his book entitled “ How to Choose the Sex of Your Baby: The Method Best Supported by Scientific Evidence” . This method recommends that couples should engage in sexy every single day from the day the period of the woman ends until about three (3) days prior to ovulation. It also requires that couples should assume a missionary position during love making. This position allows the sperm to be deposited closer to the entrance of the vagina. He also strictly specified that women shouldn’t orgasm because it increases the alkalinity of the environment of the vagina.
- The Zero plus 12 Method (0+12). This method recommends that couples should have sex AFTER ovulation. This was designed by a mother who used this method after having six sons, and succeeded.
- The Whelan Method. This method is designed by Dr. Elizabeth Whelan. According to her assumptions, she formulated a method on how to conceive a girl based on the research associated with artificial insemination. This method contradicts the Shettle’s method. According to her, couples should have sex when the woman is near her ovulation period. She also emphasized engaging in sex the old-fashioned way.
