I wish I had known about these sooner! I have been TTC for a year and have purchased expensive tests at the drug store the entire time. But after suffering a miscarriage and knowing that I would start testing again, I found these! I received them right after my miscarriage and used them to check my beta levels to make sure they were dropping properly. I would rate these tests as extremely sensitive! I took a test after having my blood taken by the doctor and doing a urine test at the doctor’s office. My HCG level was around 20 and the urine test at the doctor’s office came up negative. But this test came up as a positive! It wasn’t until my levels were below 20 did this test read negative! That’s amazing. So I will be using them as we try again and will feel confident that they will give me a early result. Great product!

The only trick with these is that they are not mid-stream tests. They are simply little test strips (they are the size of dipsticks that you test your urine with at the doctor’s office for various things). So you must pee into a cup (I used the tiny throw-away bathroom sized “Solo” cups) and dip the stick up to a line that is marked on the strip. I saw results within minutes. Each strip is individually wrapped.

These are more sensitive and WAY cheaper than the kind you buy at the store… and at about 1.00 a test why not??? most store brands measure hormones at 50 while these measure 20!! the most sensitive you can get! you can start testing way before your period is due… i belive 10dpo?? maybe even 8?? but dont quote me… if you are a pee on a stick addict these are for you!

I’m sorry, but even generic store brand tests are like – for two. It’s INSANE when you consider that these likely take fractions of pennies to make. Seriously. It’s a strip, with a reagent, that turns color in the presence of a hormone. Not rocket science. Anyone who’s tried to get pregnant knows you take a LOT of tests. At least I did. These are great. Easy to read. No, they don’t come with directions but you can get full directions on the company’s website. Pee in cup. Let pee reach room temperature. Dip stick (not above max line). Wait a couple of minutes. Don’t expect a dark line, especially if you’re in early pregnancy. Sometimes it’s very faint. Anyway, a great no-frills product that does what it says it does and saves you money.

These tests do work. I’ve had a confusing time with these tests. The tests state that if you read them after 5 minutes you can get a false positive. I had assumed I was getting a false positive because I was reading the tests after 5 min & getting a very weak positive.

I figured these were just cheap tests when I got my period any way, but it turns out I had a very early miscarriage that I was only aware of b/c we were trying to get pregnant.
I did an experiment after I knew I was no longer pregnant & read the test after 5, 15, & 45 minutes…no “false” positives this time as the directions state you may get. So if you are TTC these tests are worth the price & the LH ovulation tests this company makes work to. So I have to change this to 5 stars not 3.

Arrived quickly. These no-frills tests work fine at telling me i’m not pregnant. Glad I didn’t blow a bunch of cash for peace of mind. Instructions are printed on each packet. Easy to use, and less plastic to throw away than with the mid-stream tests. Nice to have a big pack.

These are so easy to use and work really well. And to top it off they are so inexpensive! It makes it possible to test as often as you would like without it costing a serious amount of money. Every month that I used the LH surge strips I did get at least one day of a positive result and when we did finally get pregnant these were the first tests that I used and it was a clear result. The line showed up right away.

After having a miscarriage the doctor had me get several blood tests to track my hcg levels and make sure they were getting back to zero. I was curious to see if I would still get a positive on a pregnancy test so I used one of these tests the same day I had my blood drawn. The test showed up a faint line and I found out from the doctor the next day that my hcg level was 8 mIU/ml. (Which if I was actually pregnant would have been consistent with about three weeks pregnant.) So these strips are very sensitive and I’m very impressed with them.

After doing lots of research and trying to find the cheapest and most reliable ovulation testing method, I chose this one. I was a little nervous as people didn’t seem as pleased with the cheaper strips but I must say, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I’ve used them for 2 months now and it’s been accurate both times on detecting ovulation. The strips are easy to read and as long as you follow the instructions (like don’t dip it past the line), you will be fine. I’m so thankful that these were reliable and I will order again. (but hopefully I won’t have to

I had better results with Fact Plus than w/ First response. My positive BFP came in faint but very clearly a BFP @ 11 dpo. First Responses results were so faint that my BFP was questionable. Had I not bought Fact Plus I would still be questioning pregnancy w/ First Response and isnt life stressful enough. I just want a product to give me a clear answer and this one gave it!!!
